Security Tip

If it can be done safely, please write down license plate numbers of suspicious vehicles and call 911 giving the plate number and description of driver and vehicle.

Fourth Quarter (October, November, December)

The Program

Currently our neighborhood has 9 four-hour patrols a week by Dallas off-duty officers using a police vehicle with an on-board computer. The Security Program is funded by residents of Forest Hills and has been operating successfully since 2003 with excellent results of fewer crimes and more arrests than ever before.

Monitors suspicious persons and vehicles

Insures your safety while outside your home within our neighborhood
Protects your home, vehicles and other valuables from theft and vandalism
Checks your home while you are away for an extended period
Controls speeding and stop sign violators
Broadcasts crime alerts
Increases your property value with lower crime rates
Positions our neighborhood as proactive against crime, reducing vulnerability

PUBLIC ACCESS CRIME STATS

Continue to go to www. dallaspolice.net click on “public access” for Forest Hills crime stats.  Our neighborhood is broken into 2 reporting areas.  On the search form, put in 1172 for one reporting area and the date(s) you would like to view. Then repeat the process for the other reporting area 1173.

PUBLIC SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENTS
