CHANGES TO FHSP IN 2025!!
The FHSP minimum dues payment is increasing in 2025 from $240 to $300. This is the 1st dues increase since being founded in 2003, or 22 years!

To utilize the FHSP Home Watch program courtesy service, simply be current in your voluntary dues payment of $300 or more.

There are NO LIMITS to either the number of times OR consecutive days that you are requesting.

What is Home Watch?
A courtesy visit by an FHSP patrol officer who provides services that can include:
• Patrolling your street/alley.
• Walking your property looking for unusual occurrences.
• Visually checking doors for disturbances.
• Looking for packages, newspapers, and door flyers.

Use Home Watch When:
• You are going on vacation.
• Your home is under construction (applies to homeowners and builders).
• Your home is on the market (applies to homeowners and builders).
• You are away from your residence and would like a courtesy security visit.

How to use Home Watch:

    1. Be current in your voluntary $300 or more security dues payment for your property address.
    2. Download and complete the Home Watch form found on our website.
    3. E-mail your completed form 5 days or more before your start date to homewatch@foresthillssecurity.org.
      •  Any changes MUST be made on the form and resubmitted, NOT on the e-mail transmittal – Officers can only view what’s on the form.

If you are unsure about your payment status or have a question about this courtesy service, please e-mail our Home Watch Coordinator at homewatch@foresthillssecurity.org.

Home Watch is a courtesy service.

Due to officer availability, there are no guarantees to the frequency of home checks or that they will be performed when requested.

If you are using pet sitters, housekeepers, or any other service provider, please identify them on the form. If your plans change, be sure to contact homewatch@foresthillssecurity.org.

Residents who request this service give consent for officers to be on their property and to place out of sight all newspapers, fliers, packages, and items that suggest you are away. Also they give permission for officers to call emergency contacts if they observe unusual activity or situations.

This is a courtesy service. The resident accepts that there are no guarantees to the number of times a home will be checked. The Forest Hills Security Program and its board members, as well as the Dallas Police Department and its officers, assume no liability or guarantees regarding this courtesy service.

This service provides an extra eye, a lending hand and professional expertise to give you peace of mind while you are away.
