Forest Hills Security Program Home Watch

Home Watch Form

If you are a security program member and are current with your payments, you have the benefit of using the Home Watch Program. When you are away for an extended period of time, or your home is under construction or vacant, a patrol officer will check on your home.

To ensure your request has been posted all Home Watch forms need to be submitted at least one week in advance of your trip. If you are using pet sitters, housekeepers, or any other service provider, please identify them on the form. If your plans change, be sure to contact fhspenp@aol.com.

Residents who request this service give consent for officers to be on their property and to place out of sight all newspapers, fliers, packages, and items that suggest you are away. Also they give permission for officers to call emergency contacts if they observe unusual activity or situations.

Homes under construction can also be a part of the Home Watch program, which is available to all levels of membership annually.

The resident accepts that there are no guarantees to the number of times a home will be checked. The Forest Hills Security Program and its board members, as well as the Dallas Police Department and its officers, assume no liability or guarantees regarding this courtesy service.

There are no limits to the number of times a resident may request the use of this service. The length of each watch period is limited to 21 days for all levels of membership. If a longer watch period is required, you must be a participating member at the Silver Level ($350 -$500) or higher to receive this extended benefit. This does not apply to new construction or homes on the market.

This service provides an extra eye, a lending hand and professional expertise to give you peace of mind while you are away.
